SUPPORT MY CHALLENGE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR BLIND LOW VISION NZ GUIDE DOGS
So, I know, I know, 'walking my dog' seems like something I should just be doing everyday anyway, a basic canine right? Right! But.......it is for a Pawsome cause (Guide Dogs in New Zealand receive zero government funding and raising those puppies right ain't cheap!)
But for me the challenge isn't walking one dog 60k during August, it's walking two - one who has the strength of a bull and will wail as if I'm murdering him if I don't let him chase a cat or a duck, and the other whose as slippery as a slippery snake thing, regularly gets tangled up, and has some Houdini power of being able to slip out of her 'escape proof' harness. So that's my challenge. Help me please! Also, August is COLD in NZ, and it will rain cats and dogs (pun intended).
Serious stuff:
Did you know it costs in excess of $75,000 to breed, raise and train just ONE Guide Dog?! With thousands of dogs being trained each year, every dollar counts. I need your help so that together, we can create a world where everyone who needs a Guide Dog has a Guide Dog.
Please make a donation to support my challenge today. Every bit counts.
